Πραγματοποιήθηκαν και τα Brit Awards στο Λονδίνο με μια ιδιαίτερα ανίαρη 37η απονομή βραβείων. Η Emma Willis ήταν η οικοδέσπινα της βραδιάς αν και θα τα παρουσίαζε αρχικά ο Michael Bublé. Αλλά λόγω της ασθένειας του γιου του αρνήθηκε.
Φυσικά η τελετή είχε και ένα αφιέρωμα στον George Michael, αλλά η εμφάνιση που συζητήθηκε ήταν εκείνη της Katy Perry. H δημοφιλής pop τραγουδίστρια εμφανίστηκε επί σκηνής για να ερμηνεύσει το «Chained to the Rhythm». Aλλά δεν ήταν μόνη της. Είχε και τον Donald Trump και την Theresa May. Ή καλύτερα τις σκελετωμένες εκδοχές τους.
